Apple Cider

Leo Burnett started his agency in the great depression. People said he’d fail and be selling apples on the street. For the next 87 years, apples have been in every Leo lobby around the world… until the pandemic.

With a challenge to preserve the spirit and tradition of Leo Burnett at a moment when both the agency and industry needed it most, and to express both resilience and creativity during crisis, we transformed the apples that traditionally welcomed visitors in our lobby into a cider delivered directly to people’s homes.

The can design featured minimalist, deconstructed apples, reflecting the idea of breaking down a familiar symbol and reimagining it as something new. The cider was distributed to our clients, employees and the creative community.
